The 4,7,8 Breathing Method, 2 Minutes
Instructions: Breathe in for four seconds through your nose. You’ll need to take a big, deep breath to really fill your lungs. Try and lift your chest.
Then we are going to hold our breath for 7 seconds. Stay calm.
Now breathe out for 8 seconds through your mouth. Make the last two seconds feel as though you’re emptying your lungs completely.
Repeat the exercise. This is a tough exercise, but it gets better with practice.
